Selina Haas

I made the decision to become a piano maker over ten years ago. Back then, I received a solid basic education in Switzerland.
My path then took me to Faus&Harrison in New York for an internship and from 2020 to 2025 to Piano Fischer in Germany. I have now returned to Switzerland and joined Piano Sigrist. Throughout this time, I have been constantly encouraged and supported by various colleagues. I was also always in dialogue with Piano Sigrist.
This has made me a versatile specialist with a great deal of background knowledge and, above all, a large environment that I can always fall back on for technical specialities and questions.

What I appreciate most about piano making is the variety between advising customers, for example to find the right instrument in the shop, the precise manual tasks in the workshop and tuning at the customer’s home. What I particularly like about Piano Sigrist is working with people who became my friends many years ago.
